The Rose Ensemble presents Welcome the Stranger: The Promise of Saint Benedict and Saint Scholastica

Award winning early music ensemble, The Rose Ensemble, presents a new program featuring over five centuries of music exploring Saint Benedict's Rule of unconditional hospitality. Eleven singers of The Rose Ensemble and guest instrumentalists Patricia Halverson (viola da gamba), Bruce Jacobs (organ), and Scott Pauley (theorbo) will perform works by Italian composers such as Caterina Assandra (1590-1618), Chiara Margarita Cozzolani (1602-1678), and Serafino Cantone (fl. 1580-1627), as well as a new piece honoring Saint Scholastica by Minnesota composer Abbie Betinis.

Tickets are $38/$28/$15  -- $10 for students with ID -- Free for children 12 and younger.
