AN EASTER GREETING FROM FR. RUMPZA
Alleluia — He is Risen!
On behalf of the entire Holy Cross parish family, I wish you a most blessed and joyful Easter. Whether you have worshipped with us for decades or are joining us for the very first time today, we are delighted that you are here to celebrate the joy of Christ’s Resurrection!
On that Easter morning, the disciples came to the tomb and found it empty. Sometimes we think of the notion of “emptiness” in a negative light, but here, the emptiness is a sign of hope and triumph. In a world weighed down by suffering and uncertainty, Jesus Christ has not left us in the tomb of our fears and failures; He has conquered sin and death and offers us transformation and new life.
Our hope is not a vague, disembodied wish for better days. Rather, Christ our Hope is an incarnate, living, breathing, walking, and talking Person. Even though he is now seated at the right hand of the Father, he still continues to walk with us, call us by name, and invite us from our earthly trials into new life, and ultimately into our eternal home.
Our parish is a sign of this eternal hope, and a foreshadowing of the great heavenly community. As we continue to worship together and share life and community, we want to do all that we can to ensure that each and every member of our parish family is connected, informed, and invited to partake the amazing things God is doing here.

Thank you for being part of Holy Cross parish. May the joy and hope of the Risen Lord renew you this Easter and carry you through the whole year ahead.
In the Heart of Jesus,
Fr John Rumpza, Parochial Administrator,
