Learn the Beauty of the
Catholic Faith

Faith and reason are like two wings on which the human spirit rises to the contemplation of truth; and God has placed in the human heart a desire to know the truth—in a word, to know himself—so that, by knowing and loving God, men and women may also come to the fullness of truth about themselves.

– Saint John Paul the Great

School of Faith

School of Faith is a monthly talk series for the whole Holy Cross Parish aimed at helping parishioners grow in faith and freedom in Christ. There is a forty minute talk in Holy Cross Church followed by twenty minutes of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Last spring the theme for School of Faith was “Relationship.” This fall the theme is “Identity” and this spring it’s “Mission.” See flyer for dates and topics. RCIA:
Becoming Catholic as an Adult.

RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. For any adult age 18 or older who has not been baptized (catechumen), or who has been baptized (whether as a Catholic or non-Catholic Christian) but has not received the sacrament of Confirmation (candidate), RCIA is the normal path of preparation for reception of these Sacraments of Initiation, which in the case of non-Catholic Christians also means coming into full communion with the Catholic Church.
